Architectural photographer Richard Pare is the author of the seminal The Lost Vanguard: Russian Modernist Architecture 1922-1932 (The Monacelli Press, 2007). He was the founding curator of the photography collection of the Canadian Centre for Architecture and a consultant to the collection since 1989. He is represented in many major public collections of photography.Jean-Louis Cohen is founder of the Cité de l'architecture, a museum, research, and exhibition center in Paris's Palais de Chaillot. His research activity has been chiefly focused on twentieth-century architecture and urban planning. He has studied German and Soviet architectural cultures in particular, and extensively interpreted Le Corbusier's work and Paris planning history. Cohen is the author and curator of many architecture books and exhibitions.

This book is a very compete record of Le Corbusier's built work. Each project is well photographed. The profundity of the work is readily apparent. I recommend this book highly.

I have about 20 books on and by Le Corbusier. Why get another? Surely, there is a lot of repetition in both actual images and point of view. Since architecture school at Cornell he was always my touchstone and yet, there was a kind of coolness about the work. It was more about the mind than the senses. More about purity than comfort and joy. I admired the clarity and rigor of the concepts more than the reality - including when I visited the Villa Savoie, then in pretty rough shape. This book totally changes that notion. The work is revealed as very rich, very sensual while still maintaining its rigor. I was thrilled to read it. Another similar book is 'Cosmos of Light' by Henry Plummer which showcases LC's ecclesiastical work.

Richard Pare’s photographs are really extraordinary, haven’t had a chance to engage the text yet. A beautiful book.

I could not put this book down. I ready this book straight through with a bit of sleep in between. Olivia tells us her story like no one else can. As a admirer for many years, I couldn’t wait to get this book and it is full of so much positivity and reflection. I applaud Olivia for sharing her journey. A true inspiration, thank you ONJ for all of your music and candor, this is why I continue to be an “admirer”.

I have been a fan of ONJ since 1974. I had heard "Let Me Be There" and really liked it but really noticed her with "If You Love Me, Let Me Know" and "I Honestly Love You". But when "Have You Never Been Mellow" came out I was blown away and in love. I do admit the last 25 years I haven't really listened to any of her newer music but I still love her. When I saw this book was coming out I knew I had to have it. It brought me back to those early days in the 70s. I fell in love again. Olivia takes you through her early life and her career, especially the big moments like filming Grease, Xanadu, releasing Physical and many more. You will not get a tell all book here, just a nice read. You can feel her love for her family, her daughter and her friends. I know she is just as nice in person as she always has appeared to be. I wish her all the best and pray that she stays well.

It’s Olivia talking about her life. What is not to love. If you are a fan of Olivia this is a must buy. Five stars are not enough should be 10 out of 10.I have followed her music since the 1970’s. And I even learned things about her career.

How can you not love Olivia? Her long awaited bio has arrived, and she reads it herself in this Audible version. It’s great to hear her voice and have her tell her own story. I found the recent stuff best of all, as she explains her journey through cancer. I can’t recommend it enough. She’s a great woman.

This book is absolutely wonderful! I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone. As soon as I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. It has all the emotions, and Olivia writes her life story in great detail. So inspirational and moving. Love, love, love!!!!

I have the audio version... Aside from some audio muddling, It is good to hear her voice as she talks about her early life and her fight with cancer... This is a must own for those that want to hear the real story from the woman herself....

Very inspiring. I love listening to her tell her story in her own voice. She has been in my life for the past 45 years. And will be as long as I am alive.

I have been consulting with businesses with their Internet Marketing strategies for years and have always shied away from Twitter because I viewed it more as a ticket of one-way communication. Joel and Dave have done a fabulous job of opening my eyes to the possibilities of Twitter and reinforced my decision to learn it better so I can be more thorough in assisting my clients.The book was well-written, in a conversational manner. I was able to read it in a few hours, making it a great afternoon read. The one recommendation I can give is that if you are at least familiar with basic social media philosophy, have an existing Twitter account, and know how to create a profile, you can just skip the first 3-4 chapters. A lot of fluff on setting up your account. Past that, it had some good content. I would venture to say that even if you are a veteran Twitter user, the $10 you would spend on the purchase of this title will still be worth it in reinforcing your existing knowledge as well as potentially picking up a few nuggets.

Twitter has always confused me. This book showed me how to make sense of all that "stuff" in the twitter stream and actually start using twitter to promote my business.

This book is worth far more than it costs. So many essential tips and great ideas. I would be lost on Twitter without having read it.

It's ok, I was expecting a touch more. It does help a bit here and there but it won't blow your mind unless you're completely new to Twitter. Overall it's a good book.
