My 10 years old hugged it and jumped up and down. I guess you can say she’s excited to read it haha! She’s already started it and loves it. We just got it today and we’re happy it’s finally here. She enjoyed the previous books so I’m sure this one will be just as good.

I buy the new release as soon as they come out. Rachel Renee Russell cannot write fast enough for my 11yo daughter!! She absolutely loves to follow the story lines and drama!! Our daughter has been reading these for the past 2 years and even got to meet her and sign a copy of one of our favs! Not only does Russell make reading fun and funny, she always has a message that resonates so dear and true to our daughter, her writing is spot on relatable for this age group. Almost every girl can find something to enjoy with these stories. We even started on the Max Crumbley series. Thank Mrs Russell for finding the voice of a middle school girl in ways that are as honest as they are silly, selfish as they are giving, and introspective as they are drama-filled. One more note* - these are GREAT AR books for those of us who have "levels to meet and points to gain". -You know who you are ;).

i had just bought this book on the day it came out and i finished it in an hour. The reason is because this book is beyond awesome, who knew Nikki could have such an amazing birthday party! My daughter started reading Dork Diaries because Wimpy Kid was for boys (she was 6 when she discovered the first one and is now 14). She still wants every one that is released because she said it’s part of her childhood memories and the first books she remembers that she enjoyed reading.

Daughter waited almost a year to get this book. The story was worth the wait & like the others, we loved it! I hope that Rachel continues to write these stories, and her other story line. If you have a daughter I would highly recommend getting the collection.

My 10 year old daughter received this yesterday and read the entire thing in one evening! She loves these and has the majority of the series!

Excellent book for me! I want to learn music theory and classical guitar. This book gives me what I need to continue to self-teach. But also gives me enough info to be able to ask a guitar player questions in an intelligent, savy sort of way. If you are self-motivated, this book is for you. I must admit that I use youtube.com and Guitars for Dummies to supplement my learning adventure.

I absolutely love all the method books that come from this publisher. This book is no exception and makes music reading easy to understand and includes both right and left hand technique, critical to learning the classical guitar. I would never use another method book to start this type of study.

This is a pretty good book. The information is kind of easy to understand but for people understand unless you have no musical background. The CD is terrible. Each lesson is on one long track and there is no click track to prepare the student to play along with the CD.

I highly recommend this book. I purchased a lot of the wrong books for learning fingerstyle and other methods. This book takes you from beginner and beyond. I'm not a rank beginner but this covered all the basics quickly and clearly to impart an excellent review. The charming and progressively challenging etudes was what I was looking for to develop my skills for playing brazilian jazz. I like this book so much, I plan on purchasing the next level book. An excellent book.

I've been playing the guitar for about a year on a steel string string acoustic when I decided to start playing classical so I bought a classical nylon guitar along with this method book from progressive.I had other progressive series books and primer but for the classical guitar this was the best.This book has about a hundred pages or so of quality lessons and excercises.The book is all musical notations and fingerstyle lessons.It doesn't contain any TAB lines.It also contains a fretboard guitar notes diagram and a music glossary at the end of the book.If you have a passion to learn classical guitar this is the book for you.

I have purchased other classical guitar methods books including Pumping Nylon, Parkening and one of the Romeros and I can say that this is the most user friendly, practical and genuinely educational one of them all. I found that you can put the information to use right away and noticed that my knowledge and even my practice has moved forward following the material in this well thought out book. The CD is a great plus giving you a model of what your practice should sound like. The illustration of the fretboard alone has been a great learning tool.
