This book disappointed me. I've tried using it but it doesn't have what I need in it. I've been using QuickBooks for years but recently started working in a new office and am using QuickBooks a little differently than in the past. Was hoping this could be a reference guide but it isn't for me. I will say, if you are new to QuickBooks and are setting it up in your office, this book would be great for you.

This may be a good book for some, but it has not been overly helpful in some instances for me. I am a bookkeeper by profession and recently had to take a crash course in QuickBooks. It is helpful if you have not made a mistake and need to figure out how to proceed. It is not helpful in helping you undo a mistake or keeping you from making a mistake.

A good book that explains most of what QuickBooks users need to know. I bought it to help me set up inventory control in my manufacturing business. The book helped a little, but doesn't go into the fine detail that I'd hoped for. In fairness, however, it's supposed to be an introductory book, not a user's manual. If you're looking for help with minute details, keep looking. If you want a decent reference that can help you begin making the most of your investment in QB, this is a good choice.

Great for a quick overview, but there are better guides someone who really needs to USE quickbooks, and not just be aware of quickbooks

When the business software my company has used for the past twenty years was no longer supported I was referred to quick books. This guide is a definite must to ease the pain of learning something new while trying to maintain and run a business. Highly recommend it.

I have been a fan of Dummies books since they first came out, and this one is no exception. We started Quick Books where I work and I had not ever worked in it before. We did have our accountant come in and assist in the Company setup, as we are a newspaper and were not sure which business type to select, etc. I have not had to call the accountant since I started data entry.

It's ok, if you know bupkis about QuickBooks. I have QuickBooks 2014, and it seems that this reference source is missing quite a bit. Still, it's a place to start; but, don't rely on it as the answer to your questions.

If YOU are dealing with the Quickbooks Software and you are not 100 per cent informed, you better get this gem. It will save you countless hours, and money, when you get down to the nitty-gritty of working with QB Stephen writes like he is sitting next to you and patiently explaining the processes.
