I have read 10+ books on the infinite banking-bank on yourself concept of using cash value whole life insurance as an option to diversify your investments and secure your financial future. This book is by far the most comprehensive, clear, and concise explanation of the financial concept of any I have read. It also clearly describes some of the misconceptions and shortfalls of todays more accepted investment philosophy. I think those readers who read this book will learn to think outside the box and get a clearer understanding of steps that can be taken to secure their financial future.

I had already read Nelson Nash's book - so wasn't too much new but better examples of how it worked - and a bit more detail on commissions made. This book has a lot of great journal articles/book chapters about the subject of inequality (focus on race, gender, class as title states) Some of it is foundational theory, some of it is research based, some of it puts forward ideas about inequality and there are arguments from both sides about what causes inequality and what we should do about it. Fascinating book and I highly recommend reading it even if it's just for your personal use! I had to read it for a class and am so glad I was introduced to it.

I am using this for school and so I haven't read everything, but many of these pieces I believe EVERYONE should read. When I read "Missing Class" and "Nickel and Dimed," I was saying "This is me! This is so and so!" Yes, there are pieces that are tough to get thru, but others are in today's language and are soooo relevant. I'm glad I'm having to read it for school :)

Thought i was buying a "like used" book. Looks pretty worn out and discolored.

I bought this for an adult niece who loves the movie, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I thought I'd skim through it before I sent it. Well, it is too good to skim! C. S. Lewis was able to communicate the mysteries of the Kingdom of God by following the example of Jesus Christ who spoke in parables. His writings were uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit who is the master communicator reaching beyond the veils that blind the eyes and minds of mankind in a world of darkness. The sword of Truth alone is able to divide between darkness and light, and set the captives free. Ted Baehr and his son Jim are to be commended for creating a magnificent synopsis of the life and literary works of C. S. Lewis in "Narnia Beckons."
