I purchased this book as a gift for my foodie son. He tells me he has already found a new (to him) favorite coffee house using the book. Since he travels abroad frequently, he intends to use the bookâ€™s recommendations there as well. Iâ€™m very happy with this gift.

When a book is described as a coffee table book, one imagines a large flat book filled with attractive photos and interesting, descriptive dialog. That is not the case with this book. The book is about 7 x 9 inches and about 1 1/2 inches thick. The pages are of a course off-white paper, no photos and each coffee shop location is given a very brief 1/4 page description. Very uninteresting or stimulating. A coffee table book is meant to stimulate. Do not waste your money on this book. I will be returning it!
