Buyer beware. This book is not annotated (despite the claim on the cover). There is a short biography of Wm. Shakespeare at the back. No explanation of the source of the text, no footnotes, no explanations of the text, vocabulary, or setting. Add to that a horrid job of typesetting. It is almost as if someone downloaded the text and bound a printout of the largely unformatted material.That said, I was unable to find a satisfactory copy of this play on Amazon nor at my local library. If you are desperate to read this play, this is a way to get the text, but not much else.Amazon was good enough to give me a full refund.
This is a very odd text. There is no publication data in the book itself. The verse has been compressed into prose like paragraphs although retaining the capitalization of the blank verse. There are no notes or introduction, so if all you want are the words and stage directions, this works.
