I love that this is a Christian book! The love stories are so sweet and pure. I get so disgusted that so many of the books written today are no more than verbal pornography! Many of the books have a fairly good story line but are ruined with the explicit 20-30 page sex scenes. That is not the case with these books. The plots are great and the stories well told without any sex scenes. These stories are well researched and edited and are grammatically correct. I very much enjoyed reading them. Thank you!!
An Amish Winter is a heartfelt Amish collection of stories. I could not stop reading this book. Each tale grabbed my full attention. I was inspired. Especially, the one couple who were not Amish yet were relying heavily on that community for help. No home, no money, and barely any items of their own, a young couple struggle daily. But it's their love and faith in each other that helps pull them through. The Amish friends encouraged them in prayer, faith, and love. It was one of the most beautiful parts in this collection. Sweet, entertaining, and emotionally charged, this group of writers, have a way with words. Overall, I highly recommend reading, An Amish Winter.Â
I liked the stories but i didn't like the book it was to small and the letters was to hard to see and it was to hard to hold it was to small for all the pages that was there.it was a pocket paper back instead of a regular paper back As i said the stories was fine but the setup of the book was not. i will not buy a pocket paper back book again regular paper back book is fine.
I gave this book five-star rating because each story was a jewel! Just the right amount of family interactions & ups & downs that go into making a tale to make the reader not want to put the book down. Lovely glances into Amish life.I definitely will recommend this collection to friends & family.
Wonderful stories, these authors are great storytellers. Their stories move right along, never dull. Hard to put down. Maybe people will learn to speak their mind and what is in their heart.
This was a very good book. Each story was very interesting and also different. I would have liked each book to have been a little longer and included the marriage.
Liked all three stories and they were all different. I wish that those stories could be expanded into three books. Keeping the book to pass on to another Amish reader,
Great author who I've purchased many books from for my grandmother. Will buy again. My grandmother loves Christian authors and Amish dramas.
